CM Punk ‘Banned’ From WWE Thunderdome?

Former WWE Superstar CM Punk has not been seen on WWE television since the 2014 edition of the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. He walked out on the company the next day and has not looked back since then. Following his WWE exit, many fans have been wanting to see Punk make his return to the company every year. He has yet to make his return to the squared circle and at this point in time, it seems very unlikely. CM Punk’s retirement rumor was also recently leaked.

WWE Superstar Seth Rollins recently spoke to the Out Of Character podcast, where he talked about the WWE ThunderDome allowing the company to tell their stories in a better way. He is also glad that it prevents fans from saying CM Punk chants.

“I still think social media still plays quite a role in how shows are written and how characters are portrayed. [The ThunderDome] has allowed us to tell our stories a little cleaner in the sense that things aren’t up and down as they may normally be. Whether that’s good or bad, I’m not entirely sure. I miss the fans and live interaction, but I like being able to cut a promo and getting all the way through without having to side-eye the audience. It’s nice to get a thought out without being interrupted by ‘CM Punk’ chants.”
