CM Punk has some choice words for us today as he spoke up about a match that we are dying to see in the future. Does this translate to Punk coming out of retirement? CM Punk likes to interact with fans via his Twitter account. While Punk may be very short and cryptic with his answers, what he says does get across and creates a firestorm of wonder and imagination for us fans.
A fan tweeted to Punk asking the burning hot topic of a question that has crossed our minds over the last few days. The question at hand was: “Is there a possibility of another @CMPunk vs @SamoaJoe match in the near future? #JakobsWife”
Readying myself for a letdown, I slowly scrolled down to see what Punk would say, and I must admit that I was shocked by the more upfront response than usual about anything wrestling related via Punk: “Anything is possible.” said Punk.
Since Samoa Joe was let go by WWE this means that we could see the match happen either on the indy scene, Impact, ROH or AEW. With how big the match would be, I’d bet on AEW IF this were to ever happen.
