During the most recent edition of the Pat McAfee show, the WWE SmackDown color commentator and NFL great had on UFC executive Dana White to preview the upcoming superfight between Oscar De La Hoya and Vitor Belfort. During the interview White, while stating the legitimacy of both fighters gave made some very shocking yet joking remarks regarding De La Hoya. Wrestling-Edge transcribed the following remarks. Dana White: I’m hoping Vitor knocks this crackhead out – viciously.
Co host: He said he’s worried about killing him.
Dana White: Yeah listen, as much as I can’t stand that dirtbag, De La Hoya is legit. Back in the day when De La Hoya and I were cool I actually was up in his camp and just his jab could knock people out. De La Hoya in his prime was the real deal. This is a real fight between two real guys and I think that Vitor obviously has the power to KO him but De La Hoya is no joke either. Hopefully all the coke sniffing and tequila drinking and whatever else has caught up to him and Vitor lays one right on that big mouth of his and knocks him out.
