The former WWE star Daniel Bryan is no longer under WWE contract. There has been several rumors about his status as a star. It was previously reported that he would be offered a huge deal to keep him with the company. WWE NXT Announce Another Major Firing
Daniel Bryan to NJPW?
A fan posted on the F4Wonline.com forums asking if this is all about getting Bryan NJPW dates and possibly making him entrant in G1. The fan wrote:
“I’m not gonna be a Debbie downer. If this is all about getting Daniel Bryan NJPW dates, and possible entrant in the G1, I’m all for it! It would be the most I would have cared for Daniel Bryan since he returned a few years ago.”
However, Dave Meltzer cleared that that is not the case. He responded:
“Sorry, but that is dead wrong. Not 100% wrong, but wrong in the sense of what the negotiations are. Obviously if the deal was made and they were the exclusive American partner and they’d be supplying talent AND if Daniel Bryan signed with WWE, he would end up part of the deal.”
We will see if WWE and NJPW agree on a working relationship in the future and Bryan could be appearing on NJPW being under the contract of WWE.
