Daniel Cormier Admits To Bad UFC Vegas ‘Mistake’

UFC Vegas 30 is in the books and what a successful show it was. During the co-main event of the evening, Tanner ‘the Bulldozer’ Boser snapped a two-fight skid after defeating Ovince St. Preux via knockout by punches in the second minute of the second round. However, after the fight was over, Daniel Cormier took to social media via Instagram to make a minor correction. Back in October of last year, this former WWE Champion discussed Daniel Cormier possibly joining WWE.

Cormier originally thought that St Preux was holding on to the octagon fencing – however, due to the original camera angle. This ended up not being the case and Cormier issued the following correction on the social media platform: “He didn’t grab the fence, from my initial angle it looked lke it. My apologies @bulldozerBoser what a great win!!!!!!”

This loss marks Saint Preux’s second loss in a row in UFC’s heavyweight division after losing to Ben Rothwell. Boser was heavily in control for the majority of the contest, with Saint Preux taking minutes to counter Boser’s thigh-kicks. A flurry of punches ended the contest mere minutes into the second round. In the event’s second heavyweight contest and in it’s main event, Ciryl Gane defeated Alexander Volkov via uniramous decision
