Details regarding NXT’s move to FS1

Owing to WWE’s deal with Fox, NXT is likely to be moved to FS1. More details regarding the move have been given.

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, NXT will get an extra hour and become a two-hour show on FS1. It is expected to air on Wednesdays between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM EST.

While not announced, the NXT on FS 1 is tentatively set for 8-10 p.m. on Wednesday nights. For obvious reasons, that was the time slot expected but this was the first info we were given listing a time slot. Of course it wasn’t going to be finalized until TNT announced the time slot.

The idea is to make the show a live show instead of being taped in advance as it “will not work to head-off AEW” if the show is still being taped.

WWE feels they are in an advantageous position over AEW as they have many superstars to move between shows to appear on FS1, which includes the main roster talent.

While the idea is still for the show to take place at Full Sail University, they might “tape it or tour with it.” The deal was agreed upon in late June or early July.

We will keep you updated regarding NXT’s move to FS1 once we get to know more.
