Dominik Mysterio could have his name changed

Dominik Mysterio revealed in the past that there are still plans of him wearing a mask similar to his father Rey Mysterio and change his name. Rey Mysterio registered a trademark for “Prince Mysterio,” but now it seems WWE has a copyright of their own.

According to a report by Heel By Nature, WWE registered multiple copyrights for Superstar names on October 13th. One of the trademarks included “Dominick,” which his not the way Dominik spells his name.

If WWE decides to make him drop the “Mysterio” from Dominik’s name it is likely they will have him change his spelling as well. Other trademarks which were registered on that day mostly came from the NXT UK brand. The names were:

Joseph Connors, Kenny Williams, Levi Muir, and NXT UK General Manager Johnny Saint.
