Drew McIntyre ‘Removed’ From WrestleMania Main Event

Drew McIntyre’s WWE title match with Bobby Lashley isn’t currently scheduled to main event either night of WrestleMania 37. As stated on multiple occasions, WWE loves to change plans just when we are finally getting drawn into a storyline or into a character. Plans may be changing again for Drew McIntyre after he and other talent were told bad WrestleMania news.

On the recent episode of ‘The Nitty Gritty Dirt Show’ on RussosBrand.com, Vince Russo had his usual guest on, Billi Bhatti. Vince and Billi discussed a multitude of all things pro-wrestling including the possibility of plans changing for Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania. Let’s dive deep into this.

Billi Bhatti: “I was corrected on this for a conversation this week. Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks are still supposed to main event the first night. That-at no point was actually taken away from them. It was my assumption that Drew winning the championship back would be something you would end one of the shows with-that’s not the case.”

Billi continues: “What you do have is Roman and Edge on one night and Bianca and Sasha on the other. What that would mean is that Drew would win the championship in the middle of the card on one of the nights. I would imagine that Edge and Roman are separate from Drew. That means that Drew would win in the middle of night one.”

We all make mistakes, Billi. Vince McMahon ‘canceled’ Bray Wyatt return plans, so he’s always changing his mind!
