This week’s edition of WWE Monday Night Raw has certainly been a memorable one to say the least as it saw newly crowned WWE Raw Women’s Champion Nikki A.S.H. open the show and this lead to a memorable confrontation between A.S.H; Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair. However, an unfortunate moment took place during the show as during the planned WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions contenders match between current champions Natalya and Tamina vs the aspiring challengers of Doudrop and Eva Marie. Eva Marie had an issue with her top, a wardrobe malfunction, exposing part of her back, as seen in photos below. Sometime during the match, Natalya got injured and had to be helped to the back by a trainer.
WWE Raw play-by-play commentator Jimmy Smith would botch this sad moment by confusing the names of Tamina and Natalya.
However, as far as the match itself went, as soon as Doudrop hit a freight train crossbody on Tamina she went for the pinfall attempt, which was unsuccessful. The evil and demonic inanimate associate of Alexa Bliss – Lily would appear on the titantron to mock Eva Marie’s series of ‘Eva-Lution’ vignettes.
In addition, during the match itself, a wardrobe malfunction took place as when Eva Marie was briefly involved in the in-ring action, she had her top break and because of this Eva Marie had to tag out and try to zip it back into place – which was unsuccessful.
