Ex-WWE World Champion Return On SmackDown Spoiled

Kevin Owens is a top star in WWE and has great skills in the squared circle despite his body structure. Unfortunately, he suffered a sprained MCL injury during a recent WWE live event and is expected to miss out on Survivor Series.

According to PWInsider, The Prizefighter is set to appear on this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown and the week after that as well, prior to the Survivor Series Premium Live Event.

We are told that currently, Owens is slated to be at this Friday’s Smackdown taping and all of the TV tapings leading into Survivor Series on 11/26.

Meltzer indicated on “Wrestling Observer Radio” that Owens is currently doing rehab at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL. He revealed that Survivor Series’ intended WarGames main event was scheduled to be The Bloodline, consisting of Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Jimmy and Jey Uso, Solo Sikoa, and Sami Zayn, taking on Sheamus, Butch, and Ridge Holland of The Brawling Brutes, Drew McIntyre, and Owens. Meltzer disclosed that Owens’ recovery time is currently unknown, meaning that right now it is undetermined whether he’ll be participating in the first men’s WarGames bout on the main roster. Meltzer also noted that Owens is “not moving very well” at present.
