How long Jeff Hardy will be out of action following surgery

Jeff Hardy is currently injured and out of action. So he and Matt Hardy had to relinquish their Smackdown Tag Team titles this past week on Smackdown Live without even getting the opportunity to defend the titles. Hardy suffered the injury at the 4/20 house show instead of by Lars Sullivan which was told in storyline.

Hardy recently spoke to WWE about his injury and credited Sullivan for him requiring surgery. Here is what he said:

“My knee has been weak for a while but (Lars) just put the finishing point on it. I’m going to be out for 6 to 9 months.”

Now Hardy needs to have surgery within the next few days to help with the injury. He considers it a ”bummer.”

“I’m gonna have my whole right knee repaired, everything in there that’s bad. Hopefully, the first four months go extremely well. It’s a bummer, but I needed a new knee. There’s a lot of wear and tear on it.”

We hope Jeff Hardy recovers sooner rather than later and is able to make his in-ring return. Six to nine months is a long period of time after all.
