However, the YouTube sensation recently clarified that he is not eyeing for a battle with the former boxing heavyweight world champion. ‘The Problem Child’ snubbed the possibilities of the clash as he claimed that he and Tyson were never in talks to fight one another.Previously, Cris Cyborg was spotted with Jake Paul in a video clip.
Jake Paul talks about a potential fight with Mike Tyson
During a recent appearance on Ariel Helwani’s The MMA Hour podcast, Paul said he and ‘Iron Mike’ share a amiable relationship with one another and are more like friends. Thereby, he stated that they are unlikely to lock horns inside the squared circle. It has been noted that if a situation comes up to share the ring with Tyson, he will certainly go face-to-face with the boxing legend.
However, as of yet, Jake Paul is not looking to exchange strikes with Mike Tyson. Here is what he said:
“No, it’s not real [rumors of a potential clash with Tyson]. I would fight him but there were never any discussions about that. He said it himself, like I saw him in St. Barts at New Year’s. It was very cordial, we took a picture together and he is a friend so if we were to fight, who knows, but it’d be weird, like I don’t know if I really want that but there’s been no discussions,” Paul said.
There has been a lot of talk about a potential clash between Jake Paul and Anderson Silva recently as well. Silva himself expressed a desire to fight either of the Paul brothers down the line. So we will have to wait if that fight is materialized moving forward.
