WWE is always willing to sign more talent. Jeff Cobb is certainly a talented wrestler who has shown his in-ring prowess several times. It seems he had contact with WWE.
Cobb spoke to Fightful, where he discussed recent contract discussions he had. He did not give details regarding which promotions he signed with. He revealed that he did “admittedly feel like the Belle of the Ball for a while.”
He also revealed that among those talks, one was from WWE. He received a call from the company during his time as a free agent. However, Impact Wrestling was not interested in Cobb.
Cobb appeared in AEW but did not sign with the company. He is content in working for ROH and NJPW for the time being.
