Over the weekend, it was reported that Jeff Hardy had been arrested in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for being intoxicated in public early Saturday morning. He was released later on the same day on a bond that reportedly cost less than $200.
It was revealed today through the police reports that Hardy had been found passed out in a public stairwell before he was arrested. According to TMZ, the notes state that he “reeked of alcohol.” It’s also been confirmed that he’s already paid a $153 ticket for public intoxication, and would not be facing any more issues with the court.
Hardy’s been out of action for a few months now following knee surgery. Should everything go well, he could be ready to get back in the ring by late fall this year.
