Jey Uso was not at a one hundred percent during The Usos’ Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship defense against The Brawling Brutes at the Crown Jewel premium live event last weekend.
The Usos put their tag team titles on the line against The New Day (Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston) on SmackDown and won matches all the time.
Michael Cole noted during the show that Jey had an X-Ray done on him this past Monday and that he was working through a possible ligament damage.
“Jey Uso had an X-ray on Monday, no broken bones, possible ligament damage.”
According to Fightful’s paywall, Robert Roode was backstage at Friday Night Smackdown this week, but it’s unclear why he wasn’t used.
Bobby Roode is backstage at Smackdown. We don’t know if he is to be used.
