John Cena is a 16-time world champion in WWE and remained the top Superstar in the company for over ten years. He started becoming a part-timer after 2017. Before he became the mega Superstar that he is, Cena was largely unknown as an in-ring performer.
Now it seems a WWE Hall Of Famer called John Cena at one time back when he was not known well in WWE. WWE Hall Of Famer Torrie Wilson spoke on a recent virtual meet-and-greet with The Asylum Wrestling Store. During the interview, Torrie Wilson revealed how he called John Cena a jobber after he lost a mixed tag team match back in 2002.
Wilson noted that it was funny as no one would ever call John Cena a jobber now. In fact, she prides herself on saying it back then.
“You know what? It’s so funny, I remember on that tour, that was before John Cena really hit it big. I remember teasing him backstage and calling him a jobber, which is like what we call each other when we lose all the time and I kind of pride myself on that because it was just way before — who would ever call him a jobber? No one.”
