Jon Jones Drops Chael Sonnen Wife Bombshell

Jon Jones is currently one of the best fighters in the history of the MMA world and has had 14 successful title defenses and cemented his legacy as one of the best. Jon Jones’ interesting message to Fedor previously leaked as well.

Jon Jones has repeatedly talked about deserving better pay for fighting the likes of UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou. The whole topic of UFC fighters deserving better pay has maintained steam throughout the months. However, it might have affected Jon Jones’ career in the UFC.

Jon Jones has competed for a total of 28 times and has career earnings under $10 million. Despite this, he has been a champion for UFC fighter rights as he believes he and several other UFC fighters have been severely underpaid by the promotion and Dana White.

Chael Sonnen has been charged with 11 battery acts about an alleged incident that took place in December last year in Las Vegas. Sonnen allegedly had a physical altercation with Dr. Christopher Stellpflug and his wife Julie Stellpflug at the Four Seasons hotel in Las Vegas according to MMA Fighting.

Jon Jones took to Twitter and called out the media for being silent on Chael Sonne’s assault case while constantly covering Jones’ domestic violence case and arrest last year in Las Vegas.

“Man everyone and their mom covered my story when I was an asshole in Las Vegas, Sonnen allegedly attacks his wife, another woman along with like five men and crickets”

As MMA Junkie reports, during a recent interview with ESPN, UFC executive Dana White revealed that Jon Jones could potentially get a shot for an interim title shot with Francis Ngannou set to undergo knee surgery. White would state: “I haven’t thought about it at all, but yeah, it sounds like something we would do.” The former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion has been preparing to switch classes for quite some time now and should this fight take place, it’s more than likely it would happen during Jones’ divisional debut.
