Lana was among the few stars who got released by WWE today. The names came out as a surprise and the company also confirmed the names on Twitter.

The inclusion of The Ravishing Russian in the list of released stars was also surprising.
As per some reports, previously it was reported that she had signed a new five-year multi million contract with WWE, which would keep her with the company until at least November 2024. Lana tweeted that she had signed a ‘multi-million dollar’ deal. Lana has previously been reported to have a $250,000 per year downside guarantee in WWE.
Pro Wrestling Sheet had reported that “The Ravishing Russian” came to terms with the company on a new 5-year agreement. Both the parties were seemed to be happy with the new deal. Braun Strowman Fired By WWE For Surprising Reason
According to the sources of Pro Wrestling Sheet, the new deal also allowed her to take time off for outside projects. But, unfortunately she got relieved of her duties by WWE.
WWE took to their Twitter account and sent out a Tweet to confirm the release. The Tweet read:
