However, a recent revelation has shed light on an unsettling incident that occurred between Tyson and rapper Remy Ma.
Remy Ma recently opened up about an encounter she had with Tyson, in which he offered her a car in exchange for spending the night with him. Remy Ma admitted that the experience “scares” her to this day. During an interview with Jason Lee, she initially tried to avoid discussing the topic but later revealed that Tyson’s actions were unsettling.
Remy Ma also pointed out that although she was sexually active at the time, she was still a teenager and had not yet started dating her now-husband, Papoose. Despite her discomfort with the subject, Remy Ma acknowledged that it is important to speak out about such incidents and bring awareness to the issue of sexual coercion.
“Actually, it’s different now. I feel like women get way more now than then. It’s actually an accolade for you to set your chick out. You don’t even gotta let ’em hit! It is what it is.
It was just weird. I’m mad that that story even came out. I was just like … I was scared. I’m scared now. I don’t even know what to say now. I just don’t like it.”
Remy admitted she was still scared, but asserted she wasn’t offended by Tyson’s offer, saying, “m*thafuck**s ask to hit it for free all the time.”
