Nick Diaz ‘Humiliated’ In Sad ESPN Video

Ahead of Nick Diaz’s upcoming highly-hyped bout against Robbie Lawler at UFC 266, there has already been a notable occurance. During a pre-event promo video that was hyping the event on ESPN, the wrong Diaz brother’s likeness was used as the video used Nate Diaz, the younger brother of Nick instead. However, although it was only for a brief moment it still has to be considered a glaring oversight for whoever it was that edited that particular video package together. Nick Diaz ‘rejects’ this top name in recent video.

In other news regarding Nick Diaz, while Diaz has always been outspoken, he tooks things one step further during a recent interview with ESPN. The fighter known as ‘Diablo’ stated to the outlet that he believes his matchup against Robbie Lawler shouldn’t even be happening. Credit to the outlet for the following quote below.

“I think I’ll beat the s— out of Usman,” Diaz said. “I’ll have a better shot against Usman than I do Lawler, just because I already beat Lawler. This doesn’t make sense for me to go in and fight Robbie Lawler again. I don’t know why I’m doing this. … This should not happen. Whoever set this up is an idiot. I don’t know why I’m doing this. I don’t know why this happened. I should be fighting Kamaru Usman — and that’s it.”
