NXT Superstar Joaquin Wilde will undergo a surgery to treat a broken eye socket which was regarded as a freak accident in training. Joaquin, who wrestled under the name DJZ in Impact Wrestling suffered the injury back in July.

The doctors initially assessed the condition and were under the impression that it would heal itself, but they now consider surgery as the best option. As a result of this, the wrestler is expected to miss a few weeks of in-ring action.
Wilde made his debut on the yellow brand during the NXT Breakout tournament, losing to Angel Garza in the first round.
