Possible reason why WWE is moving from Full Sail University

As reported earlier, WWE will be moving NXT and 205 Live from the Full Sail University. They will be airing episodes in the WWE Performance Center again. While no official reason was given, many suspect it could have to do with the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to a report by Wrestling Inc, WWE is moving out as they do not use students to tape their shows now. Full Sail University is known for helping students learn the craft and get into the industry by screenwriting, production and other areas within that field. The students who were used for taping NXT were learning how things functioned in the business.

With students no longer being there to get experience, WWE will be moving out. “It was noted that Full Sail won’t allow fans to attend live shows on campus for the foreseeable future.”

The COVID-19 pandemic was a factor as well. Full Sail University had partially re-opened so they could have some students on campus. NXT uses some of the rooms there at times, where there is a risk of contact with students.
