The former AEW star Cody Rhodes finally made his return to WWE following numerous rumors and speculations. He was revealed as the mystery opponent of Seth Rollins on WrestleMania Saturday. It turns out he is also working on a documentary.
Cody Rhodes is working on Dusty Rhodes documentary
‘The American Nightmare’ is serving as the Executive Producer to A& E’s “Biography: WWE Legends” documentary on his father, WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes. Variety had posted an interview with Cody Rhodes. The interview was conducted a couple of days ago.
Cody revealed that A& E is doing a documentary on his father, “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes. He said:
“I also just wanted to share with you because I haven’t been able to share with anyone, I’m excited that A& E is doing a documentary on my dad. To be able to be the executive producer on it and not have that even be in question and to be able to coordinate people who were in his life and to tell his story, that’s a big part of this journey as well. To see that and have that crew there as well. Part of his journey is part of mine.”
It was also revealed by Cody’s team consisting of the Hyperion Talent Agency, the Spanos Law firm, and the Vision PR firm that he has inked a multi-year deal with WWE:
“The most sought-after free agent in professional wrestling, “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes, has landed back at WWE, the company where he began his career. Saturday night, in front of a massive crowd at AT& T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, Rhodes returned in the main event match with multi-time former WWE Champion Seth Rollins. Rhodes has inked a multi-year deal with the company.”
Following a hard-fought back & forth battle with Rollins, ‘The American Nightmare’ picked up the win on his return. We will see what is next for him.
