Randy Orton Sad Rumor Leaks Before Survivor Series

Randy Orton is a true veteran in the world of professional wrestling as he has worked in WWE for close to twenty years at this point. It seems he has a lot left in the tank and is more than determined to work in WWE for several more years. Triple H also recently approached for a replacement of Randy Orton.

For the few months, Randy Orton has been teaming up with Monday Night RAW Superstar Matt Riddle and together they have been known as Team RK-Bro and have been quite successful since their debut together. They even went on to become RAW Tag Team Champions after defeating AJ Styles and Omos at WWE SummerSlam back in August last year.

They would eventually lose the titles to Alpha Academy earlier this year and since then they have been engaged in a feud with Chad Gable and Otis. They then won back the titles and even defended them at WrestleMania 38. They lost the titles to the Usos and Randy Orton was written off WWE television due to a back injury.

Orton then said the following on Sean Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall.

“Maaaan for everyone watching this, let me just say that how Steve is talking here, is exactly how talks in person and why we became brothers. Straight up, direct, no bullshit. Good or bad. You’ll always get the real. Keep kicking ass my brother. And you know I gotta say it, ‘thank you for the house’ 🍻

Randy Orton required a fusion in his lower back that would keep him out of action for an extended period of time. The surgery has already happened, though we don’t know when. His wife had posted a picture of him around the operation, however. There were some in WWE that told us they’d be fortunate to have him back after such a long career and the significance of the injury. We’ve also heart from some in the company that says that when he was initially injured, Orton insisted he would eventually return. However, there are no creative plans in order for Randy Orton and no timetable for his return.
