Retribution was originally supposed to show up on Monday Night RAW last night. Mustafa Ali, now known as the leader of the group, was supposed to address the WWE Universe. Unfortunately, neither Ali nor Retribution appeared on last night’s RAW.
Mustafa Ali responded to a fan who asked why we didn’t get the explanation last night.
“Do you not like it when something is promised and then taken away with no explanation? Funny feeling, isn’t it?”

Ali also responded to a fan with a theory regarding Retribution and their names. “Plot twist,” they said, “The ‘stupid’ names of Retribution are a way to reflect how society judges people by their name and labels before even getting to know them.” They followed up saying that it would be the “most Mustafa thing ever.”
Imagine judging someone just by their name. I couldn’t relate. https://t.co/XLAyFK0ETO

As of yet, there has been no explanation from WWE as to why Retribution didn’t appear on RAW. The Hurt Business said backstage that they weren’t there that night, but that’s about it.
I’ve waited years to speak my truth.
Now, you are going to wait to hear it.Until then, a reminder:#RETRIBUTION

That being said, Mustafa Ali may have given us enough of a reason above. Once again, Retribution takes on the responsibility of telling the story WWE creative can’t through social media. During the WWE Draft, Retribution was drafted to RAW, so hopefully, we see a statement from Ali next week.
