AJ Styles could be in line for the title shot

AJ Styles and Roman Reigns faced each other at Saturday Night’s Main Event Live Event at the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, Canada. This was not a televised show. The two have not had a high-profile match since 2016 so it was a treat for all the fans in attendance to get to see these two stars in action against each other. A video clip was recently shared by WrestlingNewsCo questioning if Styles will be the next challenger of Reigns after Logan Paul.

The match had headlined the live event. No member of The Bloodline was present with Reigns at the show. Styles entered the ring first before Reigns walked out slowly. He cut a promo for the live audience before the match started. Both the superstars had their chances as the match progressed.

Towards the end, Styles went for a Phenomenal Forearm, which he missed. Reigns quickly got up after ducking Styles’ finisher and hit the former WWE Champion with a spear before going for the pin. It was a clean win for Reigns, who now mostly wins courtesy of the members of The Bloodline.

Reigns was a guest on Paul’s podcast, “Impaulsive,” and before the show ended, the popular YouTuber revealed that he wanted to face Reigns and claimed that he could beat ‘The Head of The Table.’ ‘The Maverick’ had also called out Roman Reigns to a press conference. The title match was made official for the Crown Jewel Premium Live Event.

‘The Tribal Chief’ will allegedly not be working again until Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia on November 5th. He will be putting the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship on the line against Logan Paul at the event.
