The match between Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan was what was to be expected by many; a great display of storytelling and athleticism that saw the crowd split between who they wanted to see win the matchup between the two warriors. It may be surprising to some what the next move for Roman might be after defeating Bryan. Roman Reigns ‘Meeting’ With Stone Cold Revealed.
Roman Reigns had a little help, but no help at the same time from Edge at the WWE pay-per-view, Fastlane. Edge was ringside for the match and at the end of the match, came in and hit Daniel Bryan with a chair and then followed by hitting Roman Reigns with the chair as well. This fiasco made Edge more neutral than ever as far heel and face goes.
Fans and wrestlers alike are taking to social media to speculate who Roman’s matchup will be for the upcoming WrestleMania event. It may not just be one person after all.
Bryan Alvarez from Wrestling Observer had this to say about what may in-fact be next for Roman: “Excellent main event, not sure how this doesn’t become a three-way at WrestleMania.” This, of course, is to say that it will be between Edge, Reigns, and Bryan.
Fightful said: “Roman retains. Good storytelling match. Overbooked just a bit. Give us the triple threat at Mania!”
Alvarez later confirmed, “WrestleMania main event now a three-way, more info in a few minutes.”
