In an update to this story, it is now being reported by PWInsider that the match is still scheduled to go down at WWE SummerSlam this Saturday and both women are cleared to wrestle.
According to the report from the outlet: “For those wondering about the status of Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair after they missed this past weekend’s WWE live events in the Carolinas, PWInsider.com has been told they are “cleared” to perform and barring “something unforeseen” will be at Friday Night Smackdown and SummerSlam this coming weekend.”
WWE SummerSlam is set to take place this Saturday and will be held at Allegiant Stadium in the Las Vegas suburb of Paradise, Nevada. In addition to the anticipated matchup between Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair, the card also boasts several other championship matches including Nikki A.S.H. vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley in a triple threat match for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship and Bobby Lashley Vs Goldberg for the WWE Championship.
