Sasha Banks and Naomi had walked out of Monday Night RAW due to creative differences. There have been various sides to the story already reported, including that the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions confronted WWE Chairman Vince McMahon over their issue.
WWE left that part out of their official narrative, but Banks and Naomi did have words with the boss. In the official statement from the company, it was noted that Sasha Banks and Naomi dropped their tag titles on the desk of John Laurinaitis and left the building. This led to many speculations over the past few weeks.
Naomi recently took to her social media account and dropped a cryptic message. Not only that, but Banks and Naomi seemingly confirmed their WWE exit after changing their social media. Naomi was also spotted with AEW star. Little has been known about Naomi. However, it was reported she might have a new venture. We will see what is next for Naomi moving forward.
According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Naomi’s WWE contract might have already expired, but the company could have also frozen her contract for the time being, so she can’t go to AEW:
While they may not have agreed to new deals and in the case of Naomi, her contract in theory expired (they could have frozen her so she couldn’t go anywhere else), the belief is that Naomi and Banks are returning.
