Shawn Michaels says he’s done wrestling

Shawn Michaels made a one-off return to the ring back at the WWE Crown Jewel event back in November, teaming with his D-X teammate and friend Triple H to take on The Undertaker and Kane. While many began to speculate what was next for the Heartbreak Kid, Michaels says that it was a one-time thing.

In an interview with Sky Sports, Michaels said that it was a special moment for him, but he has no intentions of ever stepping back in the ring again. Michaels had already stated he was finished in ring after WWE Crown Jewel, but when asked again, let it be known he’s done, for good this time.

They forced me (laughs). No, it was a really special thing and I really felt that one for a while. I’m good with what I’ve done. The guys here in the UK, it’s their time to enjoy it and make the most of it.

Michaels is now fully focused on life as a coach and a trainer for WWE’s Performance Center and their NXT brand.

The only thing better than having your own WrestleMania moment is watching and helping someone with theirs. We had our time, we know the potential of so many of these men and women and we know the joy they can have and we want to pass it on.

It was so bad, you’d think these guys had never wrestled a day in their lives. As for HBK, he got a seven figure pay day out of the match. That sweet saudi money doesn’t talk, it screams.

that’s kinda funny and sad LOL, maybe i’m gonna watch it someday but hbk should have stay retired, this return was sooo lame and unnecessary

Ever see two guys Irish whip one another at the same time in the same direction? Because that happened. Kane’s masked got knocked off at one point and HBK did a moonsault onto Kane and Taker and neither man bothered to catch him. Oh, and Triple H got injured literally like three minutes into the match. Also, Kane and Taker both forgot the correct way to take the Pedigree. It was embarrassingly bad and probably derailed what they had planned for both HBK and Taker. I’m assuming that Taker was supposed to have on final match with Kane and wrestle HBK at Mania this year, lose, and retire.

i didnĀ“t bother watching his that last match i heard it wasn’t that good sadly

That’s because his last match was such an embarrassment. Had that match gone better, he was supposed to retire Taker at Mania, I have no doubt.
