Shotzi Blackheart reveals which NXT Superstar is set for a main roster call up

A majority of the current main roster Superstars started their WWE career in NXT. Keith Lee was the last NXT star to be called up to the main roster. But he was the only one in quite some time.

Fans expected the black-and-gold brand to be a part of this year’s WWE Draft. But much to their disappointment, that did not happen either.

Shotzi Blackheart says it’s Rhea Ripley’s turn next

Speaking to Give Me Sport ahead of Wednesday’s Halloween Havoc, Shotzi Blackheart shared which NXT Superstar deserves a callup to RAW or SmackDown next.

“The main roster is the main goal. That’s why we’re at NXT. So every time someone moves up to the main roster it’s awesome… I think Rhea Ripley [will be called up next]. I don’t know what’s taking so long, honestly! She belongs up there, she’s a superstar. I think very soon she’ll be gone.”

Blackheart said she will miss Ripley once she is gone, as she is one of her favorite tag team partners. But the callup is something Ripley completely deserves.

Blackheart is not the only one to speak so highly of Ripley. Several other Superstars, including RAW Women’s Champion Asuka have praised her in-ring performance.

NXT chief Triple H recently hailed her to be the #1 Superstar of WWE in not more than 3-5 years.

Rhea Ripley made her first main roster appearance at 2019 Royal Rumble, entering at number 24, eliminating Dana Brooke, Zelina Vega, and Kacy Catanzaro before being thrown out by Bayley. Charlotte Flair used her 2020 Royal Rumble victory to challenge Ripley for the NXT Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 36 and won.
