Stephanie McMahon First Mass WWE Firing Leaks

WWE has made some changes in their marketing department. According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, WWE laid off people on Friday, September 16. These changes are a part of the previously reported layoff policy used by the company during the pandemic.

Whether this is due to some economical reasons or there was additional staff in the company needs to be seen. WWE is known for making some exceptional changes. It recently changed its Head of Creative and the product feels fresh already. There wasn’t much of a change in the company’s corporate division until this Friday.

While no reason has been given or no clarification has been shared by the WWE if they really made the layoffs, with major news sites reporting it, the grapevine seems to have something up their sleeve. We wish to see if there’s any official word on this layoff.

If you recall there were multiple layoffs during the pandemic and wrestlers along with the backstage staff were let go by the WWE. The company loved the situation because it was ‘Best for Business’ but the fans didn’t find it good. WWE received negative publicity due to the situation.

We would have to see if this was a part of the new regime’s bigger plan as every change done by them has eventually helped the company in bigger ways than expected. Will this also impact them well, or will this layoff come to bite them is a situation that needs to be seen in the due course of time.

What do you think of these layoffs? Sound off in the comments.
