Steve Austin Makes WrestleMania 39 Announcement

During a recent episode of the “Grilling JR” podcast, Jim Ross, a professional wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer, discussed the long-awaited dream match between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Hulk Hogan. Despite the immense popularity and demand for this match among WWE fans, it has never come to fruition. This dream match is not the only one that has failed to materialize, as there have been several other highly anticipated matches that never came to be, such as Stone Cold Steve Austin versus John Cena and The Undertaker versus Sting. However, the likelihood of these matches occurring in the future is slim.

“Austin didn’t want to work with him,” JimRoss said on the “Grilling JR” podcast. “It was the wrong place at the wrong time. There was a time in both of their careers when that match should have been the dream match.

“The two biggest stars in the last two generations of wrestling fighting each other. But, again, and I’m not trying to make excuses for Hogan, but all truth be known, he should not even have been in a ring [in 2003] because he couldn’t get it done anymore.”

Steve Austin took to Instagram and made a WrestleMania 39 Announcement.
