Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Undertaker are two of the biggest stars in WWE history. The fans are always delighted to witness them whenever they make their presence felt in the company. With Royal Rumble approaching soon, both the stars could be making their way to the company soon.
Steve Austin and Undertaker could return soon for Royal Rumble
Austin has been already rumored to make his huge comeback and reports started emerging for his return at WrestleMania. Well it seems, he could be making his enthralling comeback as early as Royal Rumble. With WrestleMania to be held in the hometown of Steve Austin that is Texas, he has been featured in the advertising. On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer gave his thoughts on Austin’s involvement with Mania. It turns out the Austin could be playing a major role in WrestleMania 38:
“Probably, he’ll be like the guest host. So he probably will be on a couple of shows leading up to it, yes. Austin will probably help those weeks.”
While speaking about, ‘The Deadman,’ PWInsider reported that he will be appearing at the show in St. Louis, Missouri, on January 29. It was noted he is going to be there because his wife Michelle McCool will be competing in the women’s Royal Rumble match.
“PWInsider.com has confirmed The Undertaker is slated to be in attendance at the 2022 Royal Rumble in St. Louis next week. While obviously anything is possible, it’s most likely he is attending the PPV as his wife, Michelle McCool will be competing in the Women’s Rumble match and not that he will be performing. It is also possible Undertaker is being brought in to film material for the WWE Network/Peacock as the company will be filming content that weekend.”
