Steve Austin to return at WrestleMania 38?

WrestleVotes reported today that the company is interested in having the Hall Of Famer part of the event since the show is being held in Dallas, Texas, the home state of “Stone Cold.” It’s not a wrestling role, but rather, it will be a meaningful part. Now, WWE creative will have to come up with some ideas.

WrestleVotes reported:

“Talked to a few different source this weekend & heard the same thing, WWE is very interested in having Steve Austin as a part of WrestleMania this year in Dallas. Not in a wrestling role, but a meaningful part of the event outside of just appearing. Up to creative at this point.”

Austin made his last appearance on WWE television on the March 16, 2020 episode of Monday Night Raw where he was there to do a segment in order to celebrate 3:16 Day. It was a comedy segment with Bryon Saxton before Austin hit him with a Stunner to close the show. WrestleMania 38 will be held over the course of two nights and one of those nights is likely to be headlined by a match between Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. It was also reported that WWE has some plans with Drew McIntyre in the main-event picture. We will have to wait and see what surprises WWE plans for the fans in the coming days.
