There is no doubt that The Rock is still regarded as of the most popular pro wrestlers in the history of the business, but his plans for a WrestleMania 32 match appeared to sabotage Sting’s debut against Triple H. He has competed against the best of the best as far as the world of professional wrestling. This includes someone like Chris Jericho, who has had several matches against The Great One. The Rock also made a name for himself as a movie star in Hollywood. He recently portrayed the role of Black Adam in the DC movie of the same name.
The Wrap’s Umberto Gonzalez revealed that Black Adam star Dwayne Johnson passed on an offer from Warner Bros. and DC Films to briefly appear in Shazam!: Fury of the Gods.
Reportedly, The Rock turned down a “cameo” role in the sequel, due to release in March 2023:
“Rock passed on doing a cameo in Shazam 2 when he was asked.”
