The recent episode of SmackDown laid a lot of work in establishing the Summerslam card which is nearing by. After having already announced the WWE title match, a couple of more matches were confirmed as well with Shane McMahon set to take on Kevin Owens while Bray Wyatt will face Finn Balor at the event.
This would mark Bray Wyatt’s maiden outing as “The Fiend” while it is expected that Finn Balor won’t be donning “The Demon” persona for this match as the former Intercontinental Champion is expected put Wyatt over and take a couple of months off from the WWE.
Meanwhile, Kevin Owens will face Shane McMahon with the stipulation that if he loses, he would be forced to quit the WWE. The Prizefighter had earlier stated that he would quit the company if he is unable to defeat Shane McMahon which prompted the former Commissioner of SmackDown to accept the challenge.
