UFC Fighter Allegedly Assaults Woman During Drug…

The police are currently investigating an alleged incident involving Jon Jones, the UFC heavyweight champion, after a drug-testing agent from Drug Free Sport filed a police report accusing him of assault and threatening her life during a visit to his home.

The incident reportedly tok place on March 30 when the drug-testing agent, Crystal Martinez, visited Jones’ residence to collect a urine sample as part of the UFC’s anti-doping program. Martinez stated that Jones initially cooperated, but became agitated when he was unable to provide a urine sample.

She offered to take a blood sample instead, which further escalated the situation. Martinez alleges that Jones began recording them without consent and made threatening remarks, including suggesting harm would come to those who visited his house early.

Martinez claimed that Jones took her phone and refused to return it, leaving her feeling intimidated and fearful for her safety. Despite her attempts to report the incident to her employer and file a police report, she alleges that there was pressure to delay reporting until UFC representatives spoke with her.

The police report indicates that a summons has been issued for Jones, charging him with assault and interference with communications for allegedly taking Martinez’s phone. However, as of now, no official charges are showing against Jones in online court records.
