Undertaker & Goldberg ‘Pulled’ From WrestleMania

Undertaker and Goldberg fans won’t be happy with this news. Wrestlemania 37 will be a two-night event as WWE is ‘back in business’ and tickets would be available soon. But, the fans would be disappointed to hear the news that WWE legends, The Undertaker and Goldberg are likely to miss out on the event. A WWE Raw Champion is currently ‘removed’ from WrestleMania.

The Undertaker and Goldberg to miss WM 37?

It is needless to say how important of an event is Wrestlemania pay-per-view for The Undertaker because of his hot streak.

But as the reports suggest, The Phenom would miss this year’s event. On thr other side, the WWE Hall of Famer, Goldberg is likely to miss as well.

Brock Lesnar who has been out of action for a long time now is also claimed to be not on the card. What makes the situation worse for the fans is that, the reports say the card has been finalized by Vince McMahon this week.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer apparently confirmed that the fans will not be able to witness the likes of The Undertaker, Goldberg and Brock Lesnar this year. At least, they aren’t booked yet.

He said:

“No Goldberg, no Undertaker, no Lesnar. So, you’ve taken some of the biggest attractions off and Edge does not replace them. We’ve seen that. He just doesn’t. Edge looks old. Edge is gonna get a lot of criticism.”

The Undertaker has not made an appearance after his Final Farewell at Survivor Series.

John Cena also unlikely to appear for the event even though he was previously thought to be involved. He is currently shooting the Peacemaker series for HBO Max.

Dave Meltzer said Edge would be criticized and he has brought the new gimmick claiming he has grit. He will certainly show that at WrestleMania  when he takes on  Roman Reigns with Universal title up for grabs.

WWE still has a few weeks to change the card or book big stars for a match for WrestleMania. It is a pay-per-view of shock and returns. So who knows we might see someone totally unexpected at the event.
