Update on Akam’s injury

Wrestling is a risky business. After all, superstars can get injured at any moment. As reported earlier, Akam of AOP suffered an injury that will put him on the shelf for a long time. Now we know what kind of procedure he had done.

On Wrestling Observer Online, Bryan Alvarez revealed that Akam suffered a knee injury. He also revealed how long it will be until Akam can make his in-ring return. Here is what he said:

“He underwent knee surgery this past week and he will be out of action for two months which is why AOP has disappeared and The Revival ended up in their place on the RAW house shows.”

So it seems that Rezar will either be taking some time off or compete in six-man tag team matches for the next couple of months until Akam returns. Hopefully, AOP is utilized better once Akam comes back, as AOP is still one of RAW’s top tag teams currently.
