Angel Garza suffered an injury during the RAW Tag Team Title match at Clash Of Champions Gold Rush. Owing to the injury, the match had to end earlier than planned. Many feared his injury could have been severe, but it seems that is not the case.
According to a report by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the injury suffered by Garza is not as serious as initially expected. It seems he only sightly tore his quad. Due to that, he will be returning earlier.
Garza’s injury wasn’t as bad as he had feared. He suffered a slight tear of the quad, but it’s an injury that heals pretty quickly and doesn’t need surgery. He’s only expected to be out of action for another week or two
With Angel Garza and Andrade splitting up, they are listed separately in the WWE Draft Pool. We will have to see what is in store for Garza upon his return.
