Austin Theory has been absent from the WWE programming for a while now and new update on the situations are making the fans concerned about his future.
Previous reports on the star’s status had claimed that Theory was on an announced suspension within the company though it did not reveal the reason for it.
However, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer talked about Theory recently and he revealed that the former EVOLVE Champion has been taken off TV due to some accusations against him:
“There’s an allegation against him and then he disappeared. It’s not an injury or anything like that. Is that why? [WWE] may go and say he had a car accident. I think that Seth Rollins said that – he used some term like ‘personal reason’ and he’ll be back so I presume that it’s a Patrick Clark [Velveteen Dream] type of story.”
Though Meltzer did not reveal any further details on the story so it’s hard to say how this can affect the future of the young star and if he could return to WWE programming anytime in near future. We will keep you updated on his status.
