Vince McMahon developed ‘screw it’ mindset in WWE

The COVID-19 outbreak has affected the entire world and that includes professional wrestling. These are dark times and WWE certainly has been through a lot. The company recently fired over a hundred employees and their touring scheduled has been changed. Vince McMahon also saw the untimely shutting down of XFL and the lawsuit stemming from it, which certainly affected him.

According to a report by Wrestle Votes, he reached out to a source in WWE asking about Vince McMahon’s behavior on Friday Night Smackdown. The source said something very interesting regarding that.

That is what he’s been like the last 2 weeks or so I’m seeing. Think this pandemic, Mania cancelled, XFL getting killed has finally got to him and he’s at a ‘f*ck it’ part of it all. ‘Screw It Vince’ could be wild.

It will be a very long time until the company can even consider having a live crowd in attendance again and also going on world tours. McMahon also noted how the company might no longer be in the live event business after the pandemic subsides.

It will certainly be interesting to see what the world of WWE looks like with Vince McMahon taking more risks than ever.
