Vince McMahon ‘Did Not Fire’ Top WWE Name

Did WWE and Vince McMahon let go of Ceman? Was Ceman released from WWE? That appears not to be the case after-all. It was recently rumored that WWE had let go of Canyon Ceman, the company’s Senior Director of Talent Development. Ceman assumed this position in 2012 where has been a scout and overseeing the WWE’s developmental program – NXT. Prior to his time in WWE, Canyon Ceman has been a professional volleyball player for nearly a decade and a half.

However, it appears that news of Ceman’s release was a tad premature as noted professional wrestling and sports entertainment insider and Editor of Fightful.com Sean Ross Sapp took to social media via Twitter to set the record straight by saying the following on the social media platform: –

“WWE reached out and they stated that Canyon Ceman has NOT been let go by WWE. There have been rumors circulating within WWE and the wrestling world over the last two days. We reached out to Canyon last night, as well as two WWE sources, and did not get a response until just now”

On the ever-popular Squared Circle subreddit, fans discussed the non-release of the WWE staff member with one user named Dolph-Ziggler saying: “Nearly 10 years with the company and barely a headline about him outside of attending Bloodsport with Regal. Canyon Ceman knew how to keep to himself.” While fellow Redditor Fender-b-bender hypothesizing the following: ” [This] could be WWE trying to find out where the leaks are coming from and giving people different stories to see what comes out.”
