WWE Attitude Legend Royal Rumble Return Spoiled

Edge is in San Antonio for the Royal Rumble with his wife Beth Phoenix, PWInsider.com reports.

X-Pac, also known as 1-2-3 Kid, was a fan favorite during the Attitude Era of WWE for his charismatic personality and high energy performances. Despite being a cruiserweight, he was known for taking on larger opponents and captivating audiences with his signature crotch chops. Despite his excitement to participate, X-Pac recently revealed that he was not in the proper physical shape to take part in the Royal Rumble match. He first entered WWE in 1993 and made his in-ring debut at SummerSlam that year, losing to Mike Rotunda in a singles match. However, he went on to have many more successful matches throughout his career.

X-Pac was a former WWE Tag Team champion who stayed with the company until 1995, before switching to rival promotion WCW. There he aligned himself with the nWo and remained with the company until the onset of WWE’s Attitude Era. After Shawn Michaels retired from WWE and Triple H took over the reins of D-Generation X, X-Pac was the first to join the faction on the RAW after WrestleMania 14, followed by Road Dogg and Billy Gunn. Together they formed the second incarnation of the notorious group.

He recently posted on Twitter that many fans wanted to see him compete in the upcoming Royal Rumble match this weekend, however, X-Pac revealed that he was in no shape to get in the ring and won’t be appearing in the match.

“For the last 8 months, I’ve been enjoying life & eating whatever the f— I want. In other words, there’s no chance of me being in the Rumble. But I really appreciate those of you who have expressed their desire to see me appear. 🙏.”
