WWE backstage atmosphere different due to essential business status

WWE was deemed as an essential business by the Governor of Florida recently. Some question how this decision came to be. According to Ron DeSantis, WWE provides an essential service via entertainment. Due to this, the company continues to produce weekly content live.

On PW Insider Elite audio, Mike Johnson discussed the backstage atmosphere of the company during the TV taping for RAW this week. Johnson says that it is almost “business as usual” compared to recent weeks since the wrestlers are now considered essential employees. The only difference is that they are all wearing masks.

The COVID-19 outbreak has taken over the world and WWE is taking the matter very seriously. Apart from masks, floors are being cleaned and even ultraviolet light is being used to kill the virus.

Currently, the company is focused on producing content for Money In The Bank. As reported earlier, they have already finished filming the MITB ladder matches.
