WWE and the ruling fist of Vince McMahon make tons of changes very abruptly. We are coming up very quickly on WrestleMania and it looks like this huge match is in danger. Recently, on the newest episode of ‘The Nitty Gritty Dirt Show,’ Billi Bhatti sat down with this weeks co-host, Jeff Lane as Jeff is filling in for Vince Russo. The two talked about a vast landscape of all things pro-wrestling. We’ll be focusing on the decision WWE and Vince may be making to cancel the upcoming Battle Royal match, and move it to next week’s Smackdown in a more controlled environment.
Billi Bhatti: “One thing worth noting is that they Battle Royal matches are still canceled. They still go against the internal Covid protocols which is 20 people in a ring at once. They are going to compensate with that with tag team matches. The women’s title match, you’re going to be looking at Naomi, Lana, Mandy, and Dana, and Natalya and Tamina along with obviously Nia and Shayna Baszler.”
Bhatti: “On the Smackdown side, you’re going to be looking at Rey Mysterio, Dominik, Ziggler, Roode, Otis, Street Profits. That’ll be a way in how they come around to that.” Roman Reigns just ‘buried’ a WrestleMania 37 match.
