With three weeks left until Money in the Bank, we now know who will challenge Drew McIntyre for his WWE Championship. Last week, Seth Rollins pulled off a vicious assault on McIntyre. Thanks to an assist from Angel Garza, the Monday Night Messiah drove McIntyre’s head into the canvas with two Stomps.
Drew McIntyre addressed the situation to kick off Monday Night RAW tonight. He got straight to the point, challenging the Monday Night Messiah.
.@DMcIntyreWWE will see @WWERollins at #MITB for the #WWEChampionship AND just saw a "sneaky sneaky" @AndradeCienWWE in the ring on #WWERaw!

He wasn’t able to say much aside from that challenge, as he was cut off by Zelina Vega, Angel Garza, Austin Theory, and Andrade. Still, Rollins will more than likely accept, making for an exciting title bout at this year’s MITB.
The current card is as follows:
- WWE Universal Championship: Bray Wyatt vs Braun Strowman (c)
- Men’s MITB
- Women’s MITB
- SmackDown Women’s Championship: Tamina vs Bayley (c)
With McIntyre’s announcement, barring any changes or swerves, that makes five matches for Money in the Bank.
