WWE Fired Star Arrested For Strangling Man

A former WWE talent is facing charges after an incident occurred that led to the death of his girlfriend.

Kyle Garrett Rasmussen (41) of Metamora, Michigan – also known as Conrad Tanner, was arrested, and charged after he tried to strangle a man who was driving Rasmussen and his girlfriend, Sarah Ratlif (30) of Davison, off M-59 near the Adams Road on ramp in Rochester Hills.

According to police, Rasmussen had begun to strangle the driver and was grabbing at the wheel of the 2012 Chevy Silverado while the vehicle was moving, which led the driver to pull over and flee the vehicle. Ratcliff followed shortly after and was struck by an SUV about 100 meters (about 328.08 ft) from the parked vehicle and died at the scene.

Oakland County deputies are still searching for the driver of the vehicle which hit Ratliff and are asking any witnesses to come forward with any information.

Rasmussen has been charged with assault with intent to do bodily harm less than murder or by strangulation and his bond has been set at $25,000.

It is still unclear as to why Rasmussen attacked the driver in the first place, or what led Ratliff to flee the scene.

Rasmussen was signed with WWE’s developmental territory FCW in 2009, but the former college football player for Michigan State, who also spent time playing for the Minnesota Vikings and the Carolina Panthers was released from his WWE contract in 2010 after only 30 matches.
