WWE Former Smackdown Champion ‘To Leave’

The WWE Draft 2021 is closing in and will take place after SummerSlam pay-per-view in August. It seems the company is planning to shuffle the rosters up. There is a possibility that Big E could be removed from WWE Friday Night SmackDown.

Big E could be moved to Monday Night Raw

It has been reported that the first night of the Draft will take place on August 30 edition of Monday Night Raw and the second night will be on the September 3 edition of Friday Night SmackDown.

WrestleVotes now reported  that an idea has been pitched in WWE to move Big E from SmackDown to Raw in the Draft. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are still on Raw as a tag team.

The change will see all the members of The New Day stable together but not necessarily they would be pushed as the original faction as the former WWE Intercontinental Champion is likely to get a push as a singles star. WWE Fired Stars ‘Ugly Brawl’ At Raw Leaks

“I’ve heard from a few sources an idea making the rounds – Big E moving from SD to RAW in the post SummerSlam draft while still be pushed as a singles. In essence, New Day back together without necessary being a team. If so, E would become a fresh face for the RAW main event scene.”

During the WWE Draft last year, E had a split up from Woods and Kingston. He had already been pushed in a singles competition in the months leading up to the Draft, while Woods and Kingston were sidelined with injuries at the time. We will see how WWE plans with the upcoming Draft.
